How ranking works
What decides the order of results on NaviraHub, how much each factor counts, and what cannot change it. No plan, payment or fee changes where anyone appears.

The Network: how responses to a requirement are ordered
When a member of the Network posts a requirement, providers' responses are scored on four factors. The weights below are read from the code that does the scoring each time this page is built. The build stops if they disagree with the disclosure text below, and a test checks this page against the code.
- Fit45 percent
- Standing30 percent
- History15 percent
- Capacity10 percent
The disclosure, as members see it
Responses are ordered by how well they fit the requirement you posted. Four things decide the order, with the weight each carries:
- Fit, 45 percent.
- Whether the provider covers your destination, offers the service categories you asked for, and works in the languages you asked for. A provider who does not cover the destination is not ranked at all.
- Standing, 30 percent.
- Verification tier, and how strongly other verified members have vouched for them off the back of completed referrals.
- History, 15 percent.
- Completed referrals, weighted toward the category you asked about. This has diminishing returns, so a large incumbent cannot hold a destination by volume alone.
- Capacity, 10 percent.
- Whether the party size you gave falls inside the capacity they publish.
No plan affects ranking. Not the order, not whether a provider appears, not whether one is left out. What a member pays is not readable from the code that decides this order, and our build fails if anyone makes it readable.
Where two responses score exactly the same, the one submitted first is shown first. That is the whole tie-break. It costs nothing to act on, and you can check it against your own timestamps.
We do not sell position. We do not accept payment to include or exclude a provider from a result. Providers who are related to NaviraHub by ownership receive no different treatment, and there are none today.
What does not affect ranking
- Which plan a member is on, or whether they pay at all. Record, the free plan, is ranked exactly like Network, the most expensive one. On the supply side everything that touches discovery is the same on every plan (see pricing).
- Any payment to NaviraHub. The only charge besides a plan is a tier 4 audit, an independent inspection passed on at what it cost. What counts toward standing is the audit's reported result, as verification evidence; the payment itself is not an input to ranking.
- Any relationship with NaviraHub. There are no providers owned by or related to NaviraHub today, and none would be treated differently.
- Advertising. NaviraHub does not sell position, and does not accept payment to include or leave out anyone.
Ties
When two responses score exactly the same, the one submitted first comes first. If two arrive at the same instant, the response identifier decides, so the same query gives the same order twice.
Properties, stays and services
No listings are published yet, so nothing on those pages is ranked today. When verified listings appear, matches will be built from the criteria you state (such as budget, place, type, minimum verification tier and timing), each match will show which of your criteria it meets, and no payment will move a listing up or down. The verification and trust page describes those principles.
Checking a ranking, and changes to it
The Network is designed to store, with each ranked response, the four factor scores and the weights that produced them, so a member who asks why a response appeared where it did can be shown the numbers as they were at the time.
A change to the factors or their weights is a change to the terms. Members will be told at least 15 days before it takes effect, and this page will show the new weights on the day they apply.
