Corridors

Between the market you live in and the one you buy in.

Most property decisions cross a border, a language or a currency. A corridor is the set of people, providers and rules that make one crossing easier, built once and then reused.

Illustration of city and resort buildings of different heights, their rooftops joined by a network of nodes and lines, with one vermilion arc crossing the skyline as a corridor between two buildings. An original drawing, not a map.
IllustrationAn original drawing. The vermilion arc stands for a corridor between two markets; it is not a live route.
Example corridorSchematic only. Not to scale and not a live market.

An example: London to Marbella.

We use this pair to explain the idea because it is easy to picture: an owner or investor in one city, a property in another. It is an example. There are no listings, providers or figures for it today.

When a corridor opens, it will show its own providers, its own checklist of local steps and its own verified properties. Until then the page for that market says Coming to this market.

What a corridor holds

Five things, per pair of markets.

Each is empty until it is real and checked. A corridor with nothing in it says so.

  • Properties

Verified places in the destination, described in the language and currency of the origin market as well as the local one.

  • People

Owners, buyers and investors who follow the corridor, with the verification tier they hold.

  • Providers

Lawyers, managers, cleaners, chefs and drivers who work in the destination and can be introduced from the origin.

  • Local steps

A plain checklist of what usually happens in that market, written by people who work there. Guidance to discuss with your own adviser, not advice.

  • Price components

Fees, taxes and currency handling listed line by line before any payment step. The site takes no payments today.

The list follows demand. Tell us which pair you want, and it moves up. Nothing here is a promise of a date.

Expanded globally

One idea, repeated market by market.

The same structure applies to any pair of places. Add a market and every corridor into it gains a destination; add an origin and it gains a source of demand.

Private Network Mode works inside a corridor too: a syndicate or agency can keep its own roster of people and providers for a pair of markets, hidden from everyone else. Read about private rosters.
