Acceptable use policy
Part of the terms of use. The attestation rules come first because they have consequences most people will not expect.
Last updated 26 September 2026. Not yet reviewed by counsel.
1. Attestations must be honest
An attestation is a member's statement that they worked with another member and that the work was as described. It carries the attesting member's own standing: when a member you vouched for fails, your standing is affected too.
You must not:
- attest to a member you have not actually worked with;
- agree with another member to attest to each other;
- attest, or ask for an attestation, in return for money, a discount, work or anything else;
- attest to the same member from more than one account you control; or
- attest in an attempt to improve your own position. Attesting generously does not raise your standing.
NaviraHub does not judge whether an attestation was deserved. What happens is mechanical: attestations fade over time, reciprocal ones count for less, and attestations naming a member who fails are withdrawn automatically. An account found trading attestations is suspended, and every attestation it made is withdrawn at the same time.
2. Verification and credentials
You must not:
- upload a document that is not yours, has been altered, or has expired and is presented as current;
- misstate a registration number, insurance cover or licence;
- describe yourself as verified, audited or approved beyond the tier you actually hold; or
- show a NaviraHub tier badge in a way that suggests a higher tier, including by cropping, recolouring or removing its label.
3. Referrals
You must record the value of completed referrals promptly and accurately. You must not agree with anyone to under-report, and you must not record a referral that did not happen. NaviraHub charges nothing on referred work; the record exists so completed work counts toward standing.
4. Requirements and responses
- Do not post a requirement you do not intend to fulfil, or post the same one repeatedly to collect quotes.
- Do not respond to a requirement you cannot deliver, use responses to collect contact details, or contact a buyer outside NaviraHub about a requirement you were not shortlisted for.
5. Other people and their information
- Do not scrape NaviraHub, or collect anyone's details for any purpose other than a deal you are actually part of.
- Do not publish another member's roster, rates or client information. Rosters stay private to the member who imported them; trying to extract someone else's is a breach of this policy and probably of data protection law.
6. The website, forms and assistant
- Do not send automated, bulk, false or misleading enquiries, or enquiries in someone else's name.
- Do not try to make the assistant ignore its instructions, reveal its configuration or produce harmful content.
- Do not probe, overload or attack the website or its services, or try to reach data that is not yours.
7. General
Nothing unlawful. No harassment, discrimination or abuse. No malware. No impersonating another person or business. No advertising unrelated to property or hospitality.
8. Reporting a breach
Tell us what you saw and where, using the route on complaints and reports. A report is not a request for NaviraHub to decide who was right between members, and it will not do so. It records the report, acts on clear breaches of this policy and on illegal content, and tells the people involved what it did.
9. What happens after a breach
- Misstated credentials: the tier is reduced straight away.
- Trading or farming attestations: suspension, and every attestation the account made is withdrawn.
- Persistent false referral records: suspension.
- Anything unlawful: the account is closed and the matter may be referred to the relevant authority.
Where we restrict or suspend an account, we give our reasons and explain how to ask us to look again, as the terms describe.
